Lt. Gen (Retired) Satyevir Yadav , on rendering 39 years of military service retired on 01 Jan 2008, on the conclusion of the appointment of Commandant Infantry School.

During the service, he commanded troops in various active operations at various levels. Notably, he was part of op Meghdoot and pre-emptively occupied, thereby denying Urdolep Glacier.

He has extensively operated in Counter Insurgency/terrorism, Line of Control & other theatres. He was closely associated with training & operations of MuktiBahini in 1971 operations. At the Higher Leadership level, he commanded the Kargil Brigade & Counter Insurgency Force [CIF(K)] in the valley. His active command of Kargil Brigade & [CIF(K)] earned him the recognition through the award of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM ) , Uttam Yudh Seva Medal (UYSM ). He also served the National Security Guards (NSG ) as Inspector General (operations) and Commandant Training Centre.

He has a penchant for technology integration with systems, its exploitation, innovation, and product development with a view to adding value and lethality to weapons as well as their systems.

General Yadav, even after retirement continues to pursue his passion for technology exploitation he is a member of the Board of Advisory Team of Digital Integrator Private Limited on Defense Training / Education and Automation.

• M.E. (Electronics) 1974, BITS Pilani.
• B.E. (Hon’s) (Electrical) 1972, BITS Pilani

Prof Preet Jain: With more than 18 years of experience in teaching as well as of Industry, this industry and academic combination he is more versatile in the field of Electronics engineering. Exposure of handling leading Industry standard Electronics Design Automation tools made him dynamic towards Industry problem solver.

His Research interests include Low Power Design, FPGA based System Design, Embedded System Design Design & M. Tech in Microelectronics and VLSI Design from SGSITS,  INDORE

Presently offering his services as Associate Professor in Department of Electronics at Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology & Science, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore & Member of Board of Advisory Team of Digital Integrator Private Limited on Industrial Automation and Education.
